Patty Joy is a mystery-loving homeschooling educator for over twenty years.

Her family devours books for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. She used a rolling suitcase to carry all the books her four children would check out of the library every week.

After living in far away places in her dreams, she put her stories on paper. Many are based on real life experiences, though thankfully no dead bodies have been discovered. Yet.

Her writing is often assisted (hindered) by a young Tabby feline named Juniper.

Patty enjoys writing for two reasons. First- having a reason to interview the most unusual people. Second- hearing how her books have impacted her readers lives.

She writes to put a smile on her reader’s face, and she loves to hear about it.
